CME in Delaware

First pass, 2026-08-14, four research lanes plus direct platform extraction and a serialized browser pass.

Full coverage note — what was researched, and what the gaps are

DELAWARE IS A SINGLE-HUB STATE, more so than any state seeded to date. It has no ACCME Recognized Accreditor of its own — checked against ACCME's own list of 28 state and territory societies, where Delaware does not appear — and the Medical Society of Delaware is an ACCME-ACCREDITED PROVIDER rather than an accreditor. Nearly every other body in the state publishes through MSD by JOINT PROVIDERSHIP on one Rievent tenant, msdcme.rievent.com, whose 52 activities span thirteen organizations: ChristianaCare 30, Beebe 8, Bayhealth 2, plus the specialty societies, the Maternal and Child Death Review Commission and the Division of Public Health. That single catalog is why CloudCME and CMETracker probes for every Delaware hospital came back empty. THE REGISTRY UNDERCOUNTS THE STATE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS: of its four listed providers, the largest by far is the American Society of Cytopathology (152 activities), a national society headquartered on West 10th Street in Wilmington whose next three annual meetings are in Seattle, Toronto and New Orleans — nothing local at all — while MedicusCME is an online point-of-care publisher and LogButler is DEA-compliance software that has never reported an activity. Meanwhile NEMOURS IS ABSENT FROM THE REGISTRY ENTIRELY because it is jointly accredited (ACCME/ACPE/ANCC), yet it designates its own AMA PRA Category 1 credit and holds real Delaware-sited conferences. Subtract the national layer and add Nemours back and the registry's headline of four is wrong in both directions. THE COUNTY TIER IS GONE, AND ITS DOMAINS BELONG TO OTHER STATES: New Castle County Medical Society's last IRS filing was 2012, and the live kcms.org is MICHIGAN (Grand Rapids) while sussexcountymedicalsociety.org is NEW JERSEY — as delcomedsoc.org is Delaware County, PENNSYLVANIA. Three separate near-name traps around one small state. KNOWN GAPS, RESEARCHED AND ACCEPTED: the Delaware Academy of Family Physicians' annual meeting (June, Dover) and the ACP chapter's annual scientific meeting (February, Newark) are both reliably Delaware-sited but their 2026 editions had passed at research time with no next date published; the Delaware Academy of Medicine's Hoopes Lecture carries a real 1.25 AMA PRA Category 1 designation but its 2026 edition has already been held and no 2027 date is published; the Psychiatric Society's lecture series has a dated 2026-10-27 session but publishes its venue only as 'virtual & in-person (varies)' and its credit only as a series total; the Delaware Orthopaedic Symposium is dormant and marked 'DATE TBD'; the physician-assistant academy's conference page is frozen at 2020; the AAP chapter's course list is members-only; the Nemours CMETracker tenant exists but returned HTTP 503 on five consecutive attempts; and twenty-three of the Rievent catalog's activities are flagged 'Internal Only', so they are represented by their organization rather than seeded as attendable rows. ONE ROW WAS SEEDED AND WITHDRAWN the same day: the osteopathic society's 2026-08-20 Dover meeting is still advertised verbatim on its own live site, but the only registration route it publishes redirects server-side to a canceled Evite — a live publisher page is not evidence that its event is live, so follow the registration URL's redirects, not just the page naming it. Delaware requires 40 CME hours per two-year renewal cycle, running 1 April to 31 March of odd-numbered years.

UNKNOWN, not zero, and deliberately not assumed. The APA is ACCME-accredited and is DC's largest registrant at 808 activities, but this event's own page carries NO credit figure, NO AMA PRA Category 1 designation and NO accreditation statement — the full agenda is published and the credit section simply does not exist. Audience published as 'all individuals who are passionate about supporting, developing, and championing women leaders in medicine, including: Medical Students, Residents & Fellows, Practicing Physicians, Academic Faculty, Department & Division Leaders, Physician Executives, Health System Leaders, Researchers' — physicians throughout, with no nurse-practitioner or physician-assistant category, so neither is claimed.

  2. Joint accreditation verbatim: 'Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.' ⚠️ THE DESIGNATION DEFERS TO A CHART: 'The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of credits as listed in the chart below' — and the chart is not extractable without a browser, so the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN. The prior year's marketed 'up to 26 CME credits' has deliberately NOT been carried across. ⚠️ PUBLISHER TYPO: the site's own navigation reads 'Myrtle Beach, FL' on every page while the conference page, breadcrumb and the venue address (9800 Queensway Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572) all say South Carolina. SC is correct.

  3. Same joint accreditation and same chart-deferred designation as the Myrtle Beach conference — the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN and the prior year's marketed figure has not been carried across. Venue: 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.
