Full coverage note — what was researched, and what the gaps are

INDIANA HAS THE MOST FRAGMENTED CLOCK IN THE COUNTRY, AND ITS PUBLISHERS GET IT WRONG. Eight distinct America/Indiana/* zones sit beside America/Chicago. Most of the state is EASTERN; the north-west corner (Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Newton, Jasper — Gary, Hammond, Munster, Valparaiso, Michigan City) and the south-west corner (Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Spencer — Evansville) are CENTRAL. PRINTED ZONE ABBREVIATIONS HERE ARE UNRELIABLE IN BOTH DIRECTIONS: one hospital catalog labels every row 'EST' including August, a university prints 'CST' for September and October, and one nurse-practitioner body prints '6:00pm CT' for Evansville beside '5:30pm ET' for Fort Wayne in the same list on the same day. Every dated row here takes its zone from its venue's city and county, never from the abbreviation a publisher typed. THE STATE MEDICAL ASSOCIATION IS THE ACCREDITOR FOR MOST OF THE STATE — the strongest intrastate-accreditor result measured anywhere so far. It accredits 18 of Indiana's 28 registry providers (64%), holds a dual role as an accredited provider in its own right, and publishes its accredited-provider roster WITH CITIES, which is what resolves the four registry entries that publish no website at all. Two authoritative lists still disagree in both directions: the roster has 22 rows, the registry 28 providers, and each contains an entry the other lacks. CREDIT HERE IS A THREE-WAY CURRENCY. Providers accredited by the state medical association issue AMA PRA Category 1 under a verbatim template it imposes; the osteopathic association is accredited separately and issues AOA Category 1-A; the family-medicine academy is not an accredited provider at all and its credit is AAFP Prescribed. These are not interchangeable. Rows recorded as credit unknown are UNPUBLISHED AND NEVER ZERO — several publish an hour count with no category named, which is not a designation. BOTH OF THE STATE'S LARGEST INSTITUTIONS PUBLISH ON A SECOND CHANNEL THEIR OWN CATALOG CANNOT SEE. A Fort Wayne system's two September symposia live only on an Eventbrite organizer account and are absent from its platform tenant, while the same tenant carries two symposia the Eventbrite channel never mentions; and the largest hospital system's 41-activity catalog runs on a custom single-page application on a different host from the medical school's. Size is not availability either: a 13-hospital consortium publishes a well-structured 37-activity catalog in which nearly every row reads 'open to professionals affiliated with' one member hospital, one row is for attorneys, and one is nursing-only. KNOWN GAPS, RESEARCHED AND ACCEPTED: the largest hospital system's 41 dated activities are NOT seeded because registration sits behind a sign-in and several series are affiliate-scoped, so openness is unresolved and no AMA category is printed publicly; two dated, AMA-designated symposia in a Fort Wayne tenant are NOT seeded because the platform's target-audience field is empty on both and a blank audience fails open — one of them also prints two different credit figures in two of its own fields; the state's entire county society tier publishes zero dated clinician CME and zero accreditation statements; the health department is genuinely self-accredited but its record is retrospective only, with no forward calendar; and at least fifteen Indiana hosts return an empty body, a one-character body, a compatibility stub, a reset, HTTP 402/403 or a TLS error to a plain fetch while rendering normally in a browser, so a fetch-only pass would record much of this state as publishing nothing.

30 listings

14 dated in IN · 8 attendable from anywhere · 8 series & catalogs

  1. ⚠️ NO AMA PRA CREDIT OF ANY CATEGORY IS PRINTED — measured 2026-08-11 on both the listing and the detail page, where the string 'AMA PRA' does not occur at all. What IS printed: Social Work Category I CEU (4.75 hours), General Attendance (4.75 hours), ACPE Contact Hours (4.75 hours), ANCC Contact Hours (4.75 hours). Physician credit is therefore UNKNOWN and NOT ZERO — this corrects the research pass, which recorded the credit as wholly unpublished.

UNKNOWN, not zero, and deliberately not assumed. The APA is ACCME-accredited and is DC's largest registrant at 808 activities, but this event's own page carries NO credit figure, NO AMA PRA Category 1 designation and NO accreditation statement — the full agenda is published and the credit section simply does not exist. Audience published as 'all individuals who are passionate about supporting, developing, and championing women leaders in medicine, including: Medical Students, Residents & Fellows, Practicing Physicians, Academic Faculty, Department & Division Leaders, Physician Executives, Health System Leaders, Researchers' — physicians throughout, with no nurse-practitioner or physician-assistant category, so neither is claimed.

  3. Joint accreditation verbatim: 'Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.' ⚠️ THE DESIGNATION DEFERS TO A CHART: 'The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of credits as listed in the chart below' — and the chart is not extractable without a browser, so the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN. The prior year's marketed 'up to 26 CME credits' has deliberately NOT been carried across. ⚠️ PUBLISHER TYPO: the site's own navigation reads 'Myrtle Beach, FL' on every page while the conference page, breadcrumb and the venue address (9800 Queensway Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572) all say South Carolina. SC is correct.

  4. Same joint accreditation and same chart-deferred designation as the Myrtle Beach conference — the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN and the prior year's marketed figure has not been carried across. Venue: 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.
