First pass, 2026-08-15, five research lanes plus direct platform extraction.
LOUISIANA'S REGISTRY IS INVERSELY CORRELATED WITH ITS USEFULNESS, AND THIS IS THE STATE THAT MAKES THE POINT CLEANLY. Its two largest accredited providers hold 907 of the state's 1,644 registry activities between them and yield ZERO publicly joinable dated events: SCP Health (503) runs SCP University, 'free to all active SCP clinicians' with no public catalog, and LAMMICO (404) is a malpractice insurer publishing on-demand risk-management webinars. Meanwhile the Foundation for Wellness, at 26 activities, is the Louisiana-headquartered organization that most reliably puts physicians in rooms in Louisiana. Rank the layer by registry volume, then measure what KIND of activity it is before allocating research to it. LOUISIANA HAS NO ACCREDITOR OF ITS OWN AND IS ACCREDITED FROM TWO OTHER STATES' COLLABORATIVES. It is absent from all 28 of ACCME's Recognized Accreditors. The TEXAS MEDICAL ASSOCIATION accredits three Louisiana providers — the Louisiana AAP, Woman's Hospital and the Louisiana Regional PHO — and TMA's own roster is a three-state one, enumerated from the page itself on 2026-08-15 rather than summarised: 39 organizations, Texas 35, Louisiana 3, Arkansas 1. It matches the ACCME registry on Louisiana with zero symmetric difference. (Two independent model summaries of that page returned two different wrong totals — 43/36 and 46/42 — because its navigation repeats a comma-bearing line seven times; count a roster by enumerating its entries, not by asking for a count.) The SOUTHERN STATES CME COLLABORATIVE accredits three more (Our Lady of the Lake 41, Correct Care 12, St. Francis 5), making Louisiana the sixth SSCC state and the one the collaborative's own description does not license: it says it serves 'Virginia, North Carolina, Mississippi, and surrounding states', and Louisiana borders none of the three. ⚠️ THE STATE'S OWN LICENSING RULE CONTRADICTS ACCME AND THE CONTRADICTION IS RECORDED, NOT RESOLVED: LAC 46:XLV §437 accepts CME from 'an organization or entity accredited by the Louisiana State Medical Society or any other ACCME recognized state medical society', and the family physicians' academy repeats that clause, while ACCME lists no Louisiana accreditor and LSMS advertises no accreditation programme — its Education menu instead sends members to the MISSISSIPPI State Medical Association's CME at member rates. The rule text traces to 2000 and is almost certainly stale. LSMS IS NOT CODED AS AN ACCREDITOR HERE. THE CREDIT CURRENCY HERE IS NOT UNIFORM, AND ONLY SOME OF IT IS AMA PRA. Three currencies appear: AMA PRA Category 1 (Ochsner, LSU Health Shreveport, the urological society through Ochsner's joint providership, and the visiting national meetings); AAFP PRESCRIBED credit on every Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians activity, which is NOT an AMA PRA designation but does count for Louisiana licensure because LSBME §437 names the AAFP by name; and ANCC nursing NCPD on the nurse practitioners' conference, which carries no physician designation at all and is seeded for an NP audience only. NO AOA CATEGORY 1-A ACTIVITY EXISTS IN THIS STATE'S INVENTORY, and the reason is a broken website rather than an absent profession: the osteopathic association's site 404s on every path including its homepage while still rendering its own name, address and a 'Meetings & CME' menu. MOST OF LOUISIANA'S DESIGNATED CREDIT BELONGS TO VISITORS. New Orleans is one of the country's busiest convention cities, and the two largest AMA PRA figures RECORDED in this tranche are both held by out-of-state organizations at the Morial Convention Center — the American Academy of Ophthalmology at 50 (California) and Psych Congress at 24.75 (HMP Education, Pennsylvania). The third-largest recorded figure is a LOUISIANA one, Ochsner's 22nd Annual Update in Pediatrics at 10. The ASH annual meeting belongs in this paragraph as a visiting meeting but NOT as a figure: it is seeded with no hour count at all, and calling it one of the largest figures would reimport through the narrative the very number the row refuses to record. The event is Louisiana's; the organization is not, and the two are recorded separately. Any ranking that weights 'AMA PRA designated' will systematically surface non-Louisiana organizations here. THE TRAFFIC RUNS BOTH WAYS, WHICH IS THE GULF SOUTH PATTERN. Three Louisiana bodies hold their meetings out of state: the pathology society's Tri-State conference at Orange Beach, ALABAMA (seeded to Alabama on venue, the only non-Louisiana row in this tranche), the family physicians' 79th Annual Assembly in Sandestin, FLORIDA, and the Foundation for Wellness's Wellness Summit at Point Clear, ALABAMA. A Louisiana filter keyed on venue correctly drops all three, which is why they are named here. PLATFORM FINDINGS. The CMETracker tenant is the bare string `LSU` — LSUHS, LSUHSC and LSUNO all return the 404/404 double negative — and its catalog is publicly readable, giving 98 future-dated rows: 2 conferences and 96 sessions across 23 series. CloudCME yields exactly one Louisiana tenant, fmolhs.cloud-cme.com, whose Live Courses and RSS views are login- walled while the public views return four recurring series unauthenticated BETWEEN THEM — the unfiltered browse view shows three and the separate RSS view supplies the fourth, so a reviewer who checks only the browse view reports a row as missing that is simply in the other catalog. Tulane and the Foundation for Wellness both run HIGHMARKS tenants, the second and third sightings of that platform in any state. ⚠️ CORRECTED 2026-08-16 — THIS NOTE PREVIOUSLY TOLD YOU THE OPPOSITE, AND ASSISTANTS WERE SERVED IT. It said the public HighMarks view publishes NEITHER credit NOR audience, and that four Tulane conferences therefore carried credit UNKNOWN. Three of the four DO publish an AMA PRA Category 1 approval — 'This Activity has been approved for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™' — hex-escaped inside a JavaScript subPages array, where the space is a \x20 escape and a grep for 'AMA PRA' returns zero. The measurement behind the old claim was that grep, so it could not have found the sentence it went looking for, and a reviewer who reported this platform DOES publish credit was overruled on it. What is true is narrower: HighMarks publishes the DESIGNATION but usually not an HOUR COUNT, so those three rows now carry an approved Category 1 designation with hours unknown. The fourth is genuine silence for a reason of its own — its page reads 'Activity information coming soon!' — and the Foundation for Wellness DOES publish an audience: 'accreditation for physicians, peer support, LPC's, social workers, ADRA, and psychologist'. Read HighMarks with `npm run research:highmarks -- <tenant> --details`, never by eye. Rievent, EthosCE and CE21 produced no Louisiana tenant against live controls. KNOWN GAPS, RESEARCHED AND ACCEPTED. Credit is the weak point of the society layer: of the society and association meetings seeded here, exactly one publishes a designation sentence (the urologists', through Ochsner), so most rows carry credit recorded as UNKNOWN rather than inferred. The CHRISTUS Health tenant covering Shreveport-Bossier, Alexandria and Lake Charles returned a persistent tenant-specific HTTP 503 across every attempt over an hour while the LSU tenant on the same host stayed at 200, so north-west Louisiana's CHRISTUS layer is UNREAD rather than empty; TPN.health's 195 jointly-accredited activities sit behind a sign-up wall so their audience cannot be classified from outside and the organization is recorded as unverified rather than excluded; the Foundation for Wellness's upcoming-events navigation 404s on every path so its dated inventory here is a floor, not an enumeration; the state medical society's 2027 annual meeting is behind a member login; and the oncology society's cross-listed APP Oncology Summit was left unseeded because the organizer appears to be the summit rather than the society. MEASURED NEGATIVES, DISTINCT FROM GAPS. The AHEC network is the Michigan 'nothing at all' shape with a twist worth remembering: Central Louisiana AHEC's page is live and publishes no events of its own, acting purely as a pointer to a statewide CME referral site, medcelouisiana.com, WHICH NO LONGER RESOLVES — a live page pointing at a dead domain reads to a clinician as a working referral. The health department publishes no physician CME product; its calendar is a JS-only shell whose taxonomy is public meetings, health fairs and community training. Baton Rouge General has 15 registry activities and no CME surface at all, only GME. The hospital layer in north, central and south-west Louisiana — Willis-Knighton, Rapides Regional, Lake Charles Memorial, Terrebonne General, Thibodaux Regional — publishes no CME on any enumerable route. DELIBERATE EXCLUSIONS, NAMED SO THEY ARE NOT MISTAKEN FOR OVERSIGHTS: Woman's Hospital's three professional-education items, which carry ASRT technologist CEUs and no AMA PRA; the hospital association's 24-event calendar, which is quality, coding and executive education with no designation sentence anywhere; the Louisiana Regional PHO's weekly hospital tumour board, which is medical-staff education on an HCA-owned calendar rather than open registration; SCP Health's internal university; parish-society socials, book clubs and chapter dinners, which carry no CME; the emergency chapter's Zoom board meeting; and the Foundation for Wellness's Women's Wellness meeting, withheld because the publisher's own pages date it to both 2026 and 2027 and the weekday test cannot break the tie. THE PARISH LAYER IS FULLY ENUMERATED AND PUBLISHES NO CME. The state society's directory — reachable only through a Cloudflare managed challenge that self-clears in a real browser — names exactly ten societies across seven AFFILIATED (Calcasieu, Capital Area, Jefferson Parish, Lafayette Parish, Ouachita, Northwest Louisiana, St. Tammany Parish) and three CHARTERED (Acadia Parish, Avoyelles Parish, Orleans Parish). There is no Terrebonne or Rapides parish society on the roster. Not one publishes a CME activity, and their web presence fails in five distinct ways: a parked domain sold through GoDaddy (Jefferson Parish), DNS failure (St. Tammany), a certificate that does not cover the custom domain (Capital Area), an empty calendar grid (Capital Area again), and phone-only entries with no website at all (Acadia, Avoyelles, Calcasieu, Ouachita).
