Full coverage note — what was researched, and what the gaps are

Accreditor sweep plus four research lanes. ⭐ IOWA HAS ITS OWN ACCREDITOR, AND IT REACHES ONLY SOUTH DAKOTA — THE FIFTH INTRASTATE ACCREDITOR MEASURED. The Iowa Medical Society is one of ACCME's Recognized Accreditors and accredits 7 of the state's 9 registry providers (Des Moines University, Compass Healthcare Collaborative, UnityPoint Health–Des Moines, MercyOne North Iowa, StatUS Health, Mary Greeley and the Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation); University of Iowa (575 activities) is Joint Accreditation and ImPACT Applications is ACCME-direct. The IMS's entire out-of-state footprint, swept across Iowa and its six neighbours (MN/WI/IL/MO/NE/SD), is SOUTH DAKOTA ONLY (Monument Health Rapid City Hospital, 18 activities) — zero into the other five. Five intrastate accreditors are now measured (MAG, CMS, KMA, NMA, IMS): the direction (fills a vacuum / reaches a bordering state) holds for all five; the single-neighbour reach (IMS→SD only) is the same shape as KMA→MO and NMA→MO, and unlike the border-respecting-but-wider MAG. ⭐ THE UNIVERSITY OF IOWA IS MACHINE-READ VIA CLOUDCME (tenant `uiowa`, vanity host cme.medicine.uiowa.edu). Its whole forward catalog was pulled with the committed research:cloudcme extractor, and twelve AMA-PRA-designated conferences are seeded, credit verified: Emergency Medicine Fundamentals (28), Emergency Ultrasound (15.5), the Cardiovascular Summit (11.5), the 42nd Sports Medicine Symposium (11), the simulation-based ECMO course (21.25, offered fall 2026 and spring 2027), Heartland Lead Management (5.75), the Liver Wellness Conference (6), Living Their Best Lives pediatric complex-care (6.25), the Neurofibromatosis Symposium (4) and two half-day sessions of the Ophthalmology Clinical Conference series (3.5 each). All are in Iowa City or Coralville. ⭐ SEVERAL SPECIALTY-SOCIETY MEETINGS ARE HOSTED AND ACCREDITED THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY'S CME OFFICE, and are attributed to the society with credit noted as the University's: Progress 2026 is the Iowa Chapter ACP annual scientific meeting (11.75 AMA PRA, Coralville, Oct 1–2), and the Iowa Radiological Society 2026 Annual Meeting (3.75 AMA PRA, Iowa City, Oct 17) is confirmed on the University's platform even though the society's own WordPress site lists nothing past 2025 — a lane that read only the society site reported it as a negative; the accreditor's platform is the authority. ⚠️ DES MOINES UNIVERSITY'S DATED CONFERENCES ARE MOSTLY SPRING (already past). DMU (osteopathic school, 197 activities, IMS-accredited, EthosCE at cme.dmu.edu) ran the Vestibular Symposium, Rheumatology Association of Iowa, Iowa Ortho Work Comp, the Association of Pathologists and a Mercy College symposium all in Jan–May 2026 — every one past the seeding date. Its forward harvest is the Vestibular Symposium's Jan 16–17, 2027 edition (16 AMA PRA, Des Moines) and the Iowa Diabetes + Wellness Summit (Nov 18, Ankeny, credit 'coming soon' → recorded unknown). ⚠️ OSTEOPATHIC CREDIT IS SEEDED WHERE IT IS THE PHYSICIAN CME, credit stated honestly as AOA Category 1-A rather than AMA PRA: the inaugural ACOFP Upper Midwest conference (Des Moines, Sept 18–20, max 18.00 AOA Category 1-A, AAFP application planned). The Iowa Osteopathic Medical Association's UMOH conference (AOA Category 1-A up to 28.00) is April 2027 with dates unposted, carried dates-TBA and not seeded as a row. ALL OF IOWA IS CENTRAL (America/Chicago) — no timezone split. KNOWN GAPS: the Iowa Oncology Society, Iowa AAP and Iowa AFP publish forward dates but no AMA PRA figure (three rows carried credit-unknown); two more University of Iowa forward conferences seen on the Iowa ACP aggregator (Current Topics in Allergy/Immunology, Oct 30; Advances in Diabetes and Obesity Management, Nov 6) were not in the extractor snapshot and could not be credit-verified, so are left for the refresh; the Midwest Cardiovascular Research Foundation (Davenport) serves a JavaScript-only site that no fetch could read; StatUS Health (24 activities) has no attributable web presence; ImPACT Applications is online/enduring concussion modules only (excluded); UnityPoint–Des Moines, Broadlawns and Mary Greeley publish no dated AMA-PRA physician CME; the Genesis/ORA Orthopedics joint activity (3.0 AMA PRA) has no forward date; and the Iowa NP and NAPNAP chapter conferences are nursing-oriented and were not seeded.

UNKNOWN, not zero, and deliberately not assumed. The APA is ACCME-accredited and is DC's largest registrant at 808 activities, but this event's own page carries NO credit figure, NO AMA PRA Category 1 designation and NO accreditation statement — the full agenda is published and the credit section simply does not exist. Audience published as 'all individuals who are passionate about supporting, developing, and championing women leaders in medicine, including: Medical Students, Residents & Fellows, Practicing Physicians, Academic Faculty, Department & Division Leaders, Physician Executives, Health System Leaders, Researchers' — physicians throughout, with no nurse-practitioner or physician-assistant category, so neither is claimed.

  6. Date verbatim: '2026 IAFP Annual Conference- November 12-13, 2026' (iaafp.org, self-verified 2026-08-17). City provisional (IAFP office is Windsor Heights/Des Moines metro; the event page did not name the venue). The only credit line on the page was a stale AAFP-Prescribed template naming a different activity ('78th Annual Clinical Education Conference'), so the AMA PRA figure is recorded unknown pending the finalized designation.

  7. Date verbatim: 'November 18, 2026', FFA Enrichment Center, Ankeny, IA (Central), per cme.dmu.edu (self-verified 2026-08-17). The accreditation statement read 'Coming soon' with a 1.00 placeholder for a full-day event, so the AMA PRA Category 1 figure is recorded unknown/not-yet-finalized. Multidisciplinary audience (physicians included).

  8. University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine CME 'designates this Live Activity for a maximum of' 11 'AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™' (overview page confirmed, self-verified 2026-08-17). Venue: Hyatt Regency Coralville, Coralville, IA (Central).

  9. Joint accreditation verbatim: 'Postgraduate Institute for Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.' ⚠️ THE DESIGNATION DEFERS TO A CHART: 'The Postgraduate Institute for Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of credits as listed in the chart below' — and the chart is not extractable without a browser, so the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN. The prior year's marketed 'up to 26 CME credits' has deliberately NOT been carried across. ⚠️ PUBLISHER TYPO: the site's own navigation reads 'Myrtle Beach, FL' on every page while the conference page, breadcrumb and the venue address (9800 Queensway Blvd, Myrtle Beach, SC 29572) all say South Carolina. SC is correct.

  10. Same joint accreditation and same chart-deferred designation as the Myrtle Beach conference — the 2027 hour total is UNKNOWN and the prior year's marketed figure has not been carried across. Venue: 130 Shipyard Drive, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928.
